A special day!

Today, our family gathered together to celebrate Charissa's coming home, her 19th birthday, Laura n' lew's first anniversary, and Christmas for Jeremy and Rachel( they are going away on Tuesday) It was lots of fun, especially the part of being a "Mema".I am so enjoying this season of my life. I can see so much evidence of the Grace of God in the lives of all of our children. Just a few to mention: Laura is going to be pinned a nurse on Tuesday at 6pm. Jeremy and Rachel, and the joy of becoming parents,Sam and Pri, expecting again and the joy we all share having Giana in our lives.I can do nothing but thank God when I think about where we were 10 years ago and where God , in His kindness has brought us on this day.The scripture that keeps ringing in my ears is from Lamentations 3: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness" !Oh Lord, I am so grateful !! Thank you for your love and Mercy every day!!!

Where does the time go???

Well, once again I must apologize for my inconsistacy in writing. My life has been quite busy these past few months and I find that I love reading my kids blogs, but have no time for my own. In 15 days my lil apple "of my eye", Charissa, will be coming home!!!Yahoo. And in 18 days, my lil"overcomer" Laura, will be pinned a nurse (Yeah, Laura!). The Ellis Family continues to grow, with a new lil addition, Naomi Joy (and she is a sweet joy) and with Rachel and Jer's babe coming in Feb. and Sam and Prisila's new babe coming in July, we'll have 5 grandchildren! Wow!I am so rich, in God and His wonderful blessings! It reminds me of a little sign I have hanging in my "Hall of Fame" where all my pictures are that says: "We may not be rich, but our children are jewels". That is exactly how I feel. The time and effort that we spend with our children, when done ,for the Love and glory of God, pays in rich dividends in the latter years. I have no greater joy than to see my children"Walking in the Truth" and now God has graciously bestowed grandchildren that will be handed the baton of faith, so that they can run the race, too!I am a blessed woman, indeed! Thank you,Papa, You are so good to me!
