What a Day!!!!

Well, the wedding day has come and gone and what a beautiful Day!!!! Not only did God give us a beautiful, WARM day, but He covered all the details of the day. The ceremony was precious,in every way, so God honoring, the photographer had me laughing so hard my sides were aching! { He kept me smiling}, the food was good and we had plenty...... and Laura and Lew were so joyful!!!Please keep them in your prayers, as they are on their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Pray for continual safety and God's protection, for health and a wonderful time!!! And now I guess I am an official " empty nester". My youngest is in college so our "little home" has become quite big!!!What a tremendous blessing to know that each one, as they have left home, have made Jesus the center of their lives and marriage!! and even though they have left our home, they will always be in my heart and prayers. My job as a mom has become more "hidden" as I am learning to spend more times on my knees doing "warfare" on behalf of my family. How kind God has been to our family!!!!Oh Father, you are sooooooo good!!!!!

Rejoice ALWAYS!!!!!!

Last night, some of our family were invited to go and see our daughter, Charissa sing at a "Gospel Choir" concert. Before it began they had a worship time , to invite God's presence . I was so blessed to see the teacher "Proclaim Jesus" with so much boldness!!In a Liberal Arts college it isn't always easy ,and Charissa told us that he almost lost his job last semester because of this.God really encouraged me through the words of many of the songs( Especially since I have been a little anxious, with the wedding coming up in 6 days!!)My prayer this week is that I would rejoice, find my joy in God, no matter what comes our way, that I would keep singing all through the week. Please keep us in your prayers!!!!

Well, it's finally coming, the Laura n' Lew wedding ,only nine more days!!!!!!I have had quite a week: Monday night to get all the rest of the decorations at Michael's Craft store(I also visited the World Market for the first time- it was fun!!) Tuesday night I went to Sam's club to get the rest of the supplies needed. Wednesday I met with Hannah and Priscila on Wednesday to go over the food etc and to get their input( Thanks, girls!!)Then at night worked on favors etc. This morning I showed up at Shoppers Food at 6AM to buy Punch Supplies and other things.......and in between, in my spare time I have been teaching 46 three year olds all about Jesus' Birthday!!!!Life is soo rich, God has been so good to give me His strength and Grace at this busy season of my life!!And truely, His Joy is my strength!!!Please keep our family in your prayers!!!Mostly, that Jesus would be glorified in this wedding and in all our lives!!!I pray that those who don't know our Precious Savior would hunger and thirst to know Him!!!!We are very excited!!!!!
