Give your children"Roots and Wings"

Today I am getting ready to go to Hannah's house to help her and Enoch pack up to move to North Carolina. I am so excited for them, that God will do "A new thing" in their lives!!When they told us about their plans in April, I was a little shocked because I was not expecting this news, but the more I fasted and prayed about it, the more God began to open the eyes of my heart to His Plans and purposes for them , as a family. I kept hearing " Leave and Cleave" and realized that is God's call for my daughter and her husband. We gave Hannah roots in Jesus and His ways and now it is time for her and Enoch to leave their "comfy nest" in Maryland and "mount up with wings like eagles" and soar in Christ, trusting Him to do "exceedingly abundant beyond all that we could ask or think, according to His Power and greatness"!!!!We love them and will miss them dearly, but as a family we will continue to pray for them and hopefully visit, when God provides a way. We LOVE YOU, Hannah, Enoch, Isaiah, and lil babe to be!!!!!!!

Recently, I heard on the evening news that a "typical" stay -at-home mom works around 92 hours a week. It was noted that with overtime, her pay check would be about $138,000 a year (WOW) I pondered the 16 years that I stayed at home,raising my children, and even though our bank account is not overflowing with money, we are so rich in the things of God!!!!! The impact that a mom makes in her home is so much greater than anything this world could ever offer.When I had our "Mother's Day" party last week , just watching the little ones love their moms made my heart swell with joy, for its the simple, little things that are the fondest in my memories.Mommy, enjoy this precious season of life,with all its busyness, sleepless nights,messy rooms, endless cleaning,yes and even sibling rivalry!!! If you are loving God with all your heart, and praying for your children,teaching them His ways, they will grow up to love one another (ask any of my 5 children, and they can testify of God's grace and restoration in our family!!!)I pray that you will sense God's Love and smile upon you today!!! You a a treasure to Him, a valuable asset to His Kingdom!!!!Have a blessed Day in Him!!!!
